Oversees a diverse portfolio of projects with 20+ staff and secured $30M+ in grants since joining UNEP in 2017, including: Africa and India Centres of Excellence for Sustainable Cooling and Cold-Chain; Twinning Training Programme (with OzonAction); Model Regulation Guidelines for refrigerators, ACs and fans; Sustainable Public Procurement Toolkit; Financing Mechanisms Report; ECOWAS Refrigerators and Air Conditioners Initiative; Abating GHG Emissions from Obsolete RAC Equipment in West Africa (AGORA), among others. He’s a consulting expert for Montreal Protocol TEAP’s Energy Efficiency task force. From 2009–2017, led international clean energy initiatives as US Department of Energy Senior Advisor, and previously in robotics and aerospace.
