Oversees a diverse portfolio of projects with 20+ staff and secured $30M+ in grants since joining UNEP in 2017, including: Africa and India Centres of Excellence for Sustainable Cooling and Cold-Chain; Twinning Training Programme (with OzonAction); Model Regulation Guidelines for refrigerators, ACs and fans; Sustainable Public Procurement Toolkit; Financing Mechanisms Report; ECOWAS Refrigerators and Air Conditioners Initiative; Abating GHG Emissions from Obsolete RAC Equipment in West Africa (AGORA), among others. He’s a consulting expert for Montreal Protocol TEAP’s Energy Efficiency task force. From 2009–2017, led international clean energy initiatives as US Department of Energy Senior Advisor, and previously in robotics and aerospace. MPA and Masters in International Relations from Syracuse Maxwell School, and BSc Human Factors from U. Illinois.
