Walid is Strategic Development Director for Africa region at Carrier Transicold Europe, based in Rueil-Malmaison, France.

As part of Carrier’s ESG Goals, Walid is leading strategic partnerships and projects to develop the cold chain in Africa, as well as representing the company within international organizations, the scope of which includes establishing initiatives with different stakeholders.

In addition to his role, he continues to lead the business growth of Carrier Transicold Truck & Trailer in Africa including footprint development and coaching distributors to achieve sales and aftermarket targets.

Walid has 19 years experience in business development, relationship management and sales team management within Africa and Middle East region, including 7 years with Carrier Transicold, where he serves as business leader for Africa. Prior to rejoining the company, he was regional account executive for Salesforce helping companies in their digital transformation.

Walid holds a master’s degree in management with major in finance from ESCP business school and national engineering degree in electrical and electronics from ENSEM engineering school.
