As an environmental professional, Dr. Yunrui ZHOU is an Industrial Development Officer, Division of Climate Innovation and Montreal Protocol, United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) with 18 years’ working experience in implementing Multilateral Environmental Agreements. He provides leadership and strategic direction for the implementation of more than 70 projects in Asia, Africa and Europe, facilitating 26 countries in meeting their obligations of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer and its Kigali Amendment, and promoting sustainable cooling. His expertise encompasses project development, funds mobilization, and programme implementation in the areas of the Montreal Protocol, Green industry, and Climate Change.

Prior to joining UNIDO, Mr. ZHOU had worked for the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China for 6 years. Mr. ZHOU has a Ph.D. degree majored in Environmental Science and Engineer at Tsinghua University.
