Yusuf is an innovative business and product developer with more than 20 years of experience spanning consumer electronics (Panasonic), energy markets (Mitsubishi Corporation) and renewable cold chain solutions (Eja-Ice Limited).

As founder and CEO of Eja-Ice, he leads the deployment of solar-powered cold rooms, logistics and digital marketplaces that enhance food preservation and access to markets across Africa.

His work has earned recognition from the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Africa Prize, IFC TechEmerge and the World Economic Forum’s UpLink Blue Ocean Innovator Awards.
